Dear Comrades,                                                                      

       For functioning of any Organisation active participation of not only the Office bearers but also the members is necessary. Many Accounts Staff simply ask IS AIRASA FUNCTIONING?. This may be due to the facts that there was no communication from AIRASA Central body after the postponement of proposed BGM scheduled on April 24&25 2020 at Vizag. To make it more active and vibrant Unit level Meetings and participation of Every Accounts Staff is more necessary. At the Apex level in consultation with President it is decided to convene a CWC Meeting to nominate a Central Office bearer to look after the functions of  General Secretary till next BGM since Sri. Reji George who was GS has retired from Railway service.

      As it is not possible to hold a physical meeting of CWC in view of the pandemic situation it is proposed to conduct the next CWC Meeting via ZOOM App on Saturday, 26^th September 2020 from 10.00hrs. The Meeting ID and passcode will be circulated on 25^th September. The Agenda of the Meeting will be

1.       To nominate a Central Office bearer to look after the duties of General Secretary.

2.       To discuss the current position of all pending demands.

3.       To discuss the proposed merger of departments, its implications and actions to be taken by AIRASA.

4.       Action to be taken for conducting next BGM.

5.       Any other subject raised by the CWC Members.

All the Central Office bearers, Zonal Presidents and Secretaries and Permanent Invitees are requested to participate without fail. Retired Central Office bearers may also participate in the Meeting as Special Guests and give their valuable suggestions.

     All Units/Zone are requested to remit the membership dues immediately. With the meager balance available the Central Office it is very difficult to carry on the activities of the Association and all CWC Members are requested treat the matter very serious and arrange for immediate remittance of the central portion of the membership collection.
